Man, I have to get to one of these some year.
But the fact that it often falls on my wife's birthday is NOT helping.

If you're in town for the game: the St. Louis Illini Club is hosting a pregame/gamewatch party downtown at the Tin Roof: http://www.stlouisillini.org/bragginrights

We were at Ballpark Village last year, but this year BPV did a deal with the Mizzou alumni club to make that the Mizzou pregame location. Make sure you celebrate with the good guys.

How were you supposed to know she didn't want tickets for her birthday? You're not a mind reader. And now that you've already paid for them, it would be a shame to let them go to waste. :)

So I purchased tickets through the link that was posted on Loyalty a while back from the Illinois twitter account. Still haven't received them in the mail. Should I be worried?

The last time I went to Braggin' Rights, RR made his shot. Man, that place can get loud.

I just received mine last week, I'm sure you'll be getting them soon.

Has the game been aired on the big screen at BPV the last few years?

We went to the pregame pep rally there last year. It's was very pro illini as was the crowd at the stadium. Best part of the day was drinking a few beers with Tyler Griffey and getting to sit next to Whitman and football staff in a reserved are we snuck in to!

Is there a cover or cost to get in?

Free free free.

If you got something from UIAA asking you to register, it's a free ticket and you don't necessarily have to register (they're using it to size the food order I think).

The 103 - 115 side has traditionally been the Illini section at the Scottrade Center.
