Does anyone know if the BTN Plus games are able to be "casted" from the Bigten2go APP to a TV preventing the need for HDMI cable?

I now see the casting option is available.

Don't think there is one....have looked ahead to next Weds schedule and have not seen a replay listed

That just plain sucks. Past years there were replays. Terrible decision. FWIW, no way I'll subscribe to BTN Plus, on principle alone.

I'm with you on that. I'm already paying for the base coverage, no way I should have to double up for a substantially worse production. Just not going to happen

TBH quality is bad enough that a radio broadcast is almost as good. Love the radio guys too so maybe im bias, but listening to the student commentators is even worse than this

See my previous post; none of the Illini games are slated for re-air, I checked the programming guide.

I don't understand this 'Principle' argument people give for not wanting to pay for viewing these games. Pre-BTN games/match ups like these were not available for viewing, but available on radio. Post-BTN games/match ups like these are available for viewing for a nominal fee, and still available on radio.

Is Illini Torrent still a thing? I plan on ripping a stream of the game.

No, not for at least a couple years now maybe longer. I think I still have it bookmarked just in case it returns.

I have just scrolled through Comcast BTN schedule/grid up to 11/24 1:00 PM (wouldn't go any farther) and the only Illinois basketball game listed is the DePaul game on the 17th (?) which is on regular BTN. It will be replayed later at 1:00 AM CST. I assume that the games listed as "Student U" are BTN+ replays. There are very few of those. I didn't count but I don't think there were more than 5.

Of course, the farther out you go from today's date I think the more likely that there could be changes in the schedule. So I will keep checking

Yeah, I signed up for it last night and I tried to watch the IU UofI classic game and I couldn't get it to play. Just a black screen. I hope that isn't the case tonight for the real game.

I think you will, and that is what I plan to do. BTN+ is not part of BTN, so how you get BTN does not affect how you will get BTN+.

we will see I guess...they told me since I have roku that as long as I'm signed in on my cpu that the signal will appear on my tv with no cable needed...at the least I will get to watch on my cpu.

If you have the BTN app in Roku, you can watch BTN+ content with it. Shouldn’t need to use your cpu.

I'm watching the 2013 game with griffeys layup to beat # Loosiers...is that the game you tried to watch....it's working for me and there is a sign in on BTN to put you're BTN+ sign in stuff so I think I'm good to go for tonight's game...

Went ahead and signed up for one month. I have a Roku so the BTN App makes it pretty easy.

Go Illini!
