What are the medical red shirt rules for football? My recollection is that in basketball you have to play less than 30% of the total team games to be eligible.
Same for football, 30%. Since we've only played 2 games he should qualify. Get well soon Caleb.
I always thought football was different. I thought if you stepped foot on the field, your eligibility was used for that year. I think of the uproar on this board of "wasting" a year of eligibility for Aaron Bailey for playing him in one (or a couple) series in one game. Since Day suffered a season-ending injury, does that change things?

Knew it the second I saw it happen it was an ACL. Feel bad for Caleb. Hopefully he comes back better next year.
