Moving back the portal window until the end of all bowls/playoffs leaves scant time for those late playing players to do visits and be able to enroll in time for spring semester classes. For example, the last day to add classes at UNC is Jan 13th.
The have classes at UNC?

No easy solution I am not sure any of these are realistic or would help the the situation or create other issues

You can make players deals go through the entire season. Then you have to enforce players contract or have last payment released on x date

You can make only one transfer window in the spring. However spring football determines some starters so wouldn’t that punish a player wanting to play

If NCAA can regulate when players leave can’t they also say coaches can’t be hired until after the season.

Have bowl/playoff games have payouts that get evenly distributed between players who are on rosters. To make a meaningful payout need between 5-10 million to be split 100 ways. This would incentivize kids to play the game

This is not a typical situation.

Marshall HC who is well liked be the players left to take Southern Miss job because the school and him couldn't agree to an extension. Many of these players are likely following him to Southern Miss.
Southern Miss is my grad school, hope you are right, they need a bunch of new talent
I went there during the Favre years so I'm spoiled

B1G member Indiana of course. "A rising tide lifts all boats"

Agreed! I haven't liked IU's run all year because it took some of the publicity away from our good season, but I despise ND. It would be extremely entertaining to watch an in state school beat them at their place. Add in the fact that there are quite a few Indiana residents who like ND in football and IU in basketball, which is lame IMO.

Also, don't forget we play IU early next year. The more games they win this year affects (partially) how highly they will be ranked next year when we beat them.

Indiana's cream puff schedule and Buckeye Drubbing...gives the full picture. Dont like da golden domers, but it is against Who's Yours?

ND game will be fine. Field will be totally cleared, temps will be in the upper 20's at kick. Might get some lake effect snow at times during the game, will make for a nice snow globe on TV, but no accumulation. Football weather!

Every one? Sounds like end time stuff. I think I'm ready.
I mean there's 20 teams ahead of us in the rankings. The universe should course correct that since we're obviously the best team to ever exist.
