Pac-12 scraps divisions after NCAA paves way
After the NCAA Division I Council tossed out requirements that dictate how football conferences can determine a champion, the Pac-12 announced Wednesday that it was scrapping its divisional format for the coming season.
NCAA let's conferences decide the criteria for conference championships. PAC-12 immediately scraps divisions. Will be interesting if others do the same.

Just my opinion with no real stats or research to back this up, but I feel our divisions hurt the B1G as a conference, but teams like Illinois benefit from them.
