I think the coaching and discipline is night and day. With NIL the teams are on the same playing field athletically but the execution and attention detail scheme wise is on a different level in the B10.

Rewatch some SEC shootouts from this season and you’ll see how many points come from blown coverage or big runs because teams aren’t fitting their gaps correctly.
I think for a lot of years. SEC teams just threw athletes out there and said “get to the football”. Those days are over with NIL.

Sun Bowl on my quad view along with two basketball games and the Iowa-Vandy game. There is a large, inflatable bowl of Frosted Flakes (the flakes are also inflatable) that ASU players jumped into after a touchdown.

Probably not a good idea for the officials to flag that. Guessing Kellogg’s wouldn’t be overly thrilled about it.

Iowa is having those defensive lapses giving up big plays.

Why put it there if it's not for jumping in?

They flagged Chase Brown when he jumped in the Salvation Army cauldron that looked specifically for jumping in to.

There is a very good reason the NFL has been called the “No Fun League”………

The SEC is why we shouldn't have any polls until after at least week 5. The conference is a Ponzi scheme. Too many SEC teams are ranked way too high early based purely on name recognition and biases. It keeps everything afloat until, at the end of the year, you look around and realize there was never actually anything there.

Instead, let everyone play. See who truly has the goods. Then start to rank ‘em.

It's also a closed loop system. Play 4 cupcakes, get everybody ranked, then play each other so all your losses are to "top teams".
