Starting this thread as a catch-all for the stuff going on in the conference tournaments around the country this week and next. I'll understand if Dan ends up moving it around to another spot on here. We can still have the daily games thread though. Just thought it would be good to have this as a place to congregate everything else outside of that.

The ASUN Conference had its opening round game tonight with 9 seed Queens Uiversity defeating 10 seed Florida Gulf Coast 61-55 and 8 seed Bellarmine defeating 7 seed North Florida 76-74. The Royals will travel to 1 seed Kennesaw State while the Knights will travel to 2 seed Liberty, both on Tuesday night. The Sun Belt Conference (1 seed Southern Miss), Horizon League (1 seed Youngstown State), and Patriot League (1 seed Colgate) tournaments start tomorrow night. Other conference tournaments that start this week include the Ohio Valley Conference, Big South Conference, Missouri Valley Conference, Southern Conference, Northeast Conference, CAA, Summit League, and West Coast Conference.

Antoine Davis had 38 points in Detroit-Mercy's win in the Quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament. He is now only 25 points away from becoming the NCAA's all-time leading scorer, ahead of Pistol Pete (with caveats such as playing more seasons and a 3pt line).

That's still pretty cool, caveats aside. Dude has averaged what looks like 37+ minutes per game and taken over 1/3 of his team's shots... for 5 straight seasons. Shoots about 85-90% from the stripe and over 37% from three in 4 of his 5 seasons - that's how you rack up some points.

Looks like they're playing the top seed on Thursday so this could be his last chance. He's scored 25+ in 22 of their 32 games this season.

Other upsets by seed yesterday included 7 seed Campbell defeating 2 seed Longwood in the Big South Conference tournament 81-68. Camels will face Radford this afternoon for a spot in the conference tournament championship game.

The first NCAA tournament ticket will be punched tonight in the OVC tournament final between SEMO and Tennessee Tech. Game is set for a 7:00 PM CT start on ESPN2. A long NCAA tournament drought will end for the winner of the game. SEMO has only went to the NCAA Tournament once, back in 2000. Tennessee Tech has not made the NCAA Tournament since 1963.

SEMO won the OVC tournament in OT. SEMO wasn't the only team to punch an NCAA Tournament bid yesterday though.

Merrimack College, who is in its final season of a transition from D-II to D-I, is the 1 seed in the Northeast Conference tournament. As a result of their win in the tournament semifinals yesterday, their opponent in the tournament final, Fairleigh Dickinson, has clinched the NCAA Tournament bid for the conference. It is the Knights' 7th NCAA Tournament appearance, their first since 2019.
