To Brown's credit, he was very matter of fact in the post game presser. Certainly different than what we would have gotten from Eberflus.
I don’t know. A lot of “ I’ve got to do a better job of this, I’ve got to do a better job of that.” Eberfluss was always saying that. When asked why the Bears always start off so slow, he said he didn’t have the answer. Not exactly confidence inspiring. In his defense there’s not a lot you can say when you get your doors blown off like that.

I can't remember a game where I saw so many receivers completely wide open.

They need to look in the mirror instead of complaining publicly about the coach at every opportunity. Including Poles who went into this season with that offensive line.

If the Bears go "all in" on the offensive line and get 3 new starters, via the draft and free agency (top rated FA tackle and top ranked O-line in draft) plus one more, what would that do record wise? Yesterday was the first time that I heard the Bears receivers have difficulty creating space on the intermediate routes, part of the reason that Caleb has to hold the ball longer.

Also, while watching the end of the Bills/Rams, I noticed Josh Allen dropping back 10 yards from scrimmage, to have time to scan the field and get out of the rush. Would that be a good plan for Caleb?

For those who think the Bears defense is good, after yesterday’s game they are 30th in the league in average yards per play allowed.

Quite the lay down from the Bears on Sunday. Not an ounce of care or passion shown on the field by any Bears player. Well, except the punter.

Jets are the only team drafting before us that won. If we lose they still draft before us if I understand how it works. Weakest strength of schedule with the same record chooses first?

The team with the lower strength of schedule (their opponents compiled fewer wins) is granted the earlier pick in round one with each game against a division rival counted separately, so divisional records are weighted double.

Bears have to stop assuming from the first drive that we are going to lose, so we might as well do stupid stuff. They go for it on their own side of the field on fourth down, don't make it. Minn can't get a first down but takes the gifted field goal. - 3
Bears go for it on fourth down while in field goal range. Don't get it. -6
Bears don't notice that the lineman didn't report as eligible, lose TD settle for FG -10
Bears go for 2 on extra point -11
Bears don't let Bagent air it out at the end -18

Game ended 30-12 Should have been a tie, gone to OT.

Thank you for the summary. I bailed at half time. I don't normally do this, but have been feeling under the weather and thought a good night's sleep would help. I am sure that it didn't hurt.

I’d like to know what special favors Kramer has done to remain on the roster this many seasons.

They take a chance and miss on 4th down in their own territory on the first drive of the game, BUT at the end of the half with 4 seconds on the clock Minnesota kicks off and they take a knee in the end zone. From the 35 they take a knee and end the half. Instruct the guy to hang on to the ball and run it out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Are they going all out to try to win? If they are there is a free chance to make a broken field run, go for it.

Stupid babies!

I don't like to see Doug inactive. He had a really dumb penalty last week when he failed to report as an eligeable receiver before a play that they scored a TD on and it cost them 4 points. He might have seen his last playing time but I hope not. Now Kiran, he might need a little more tuning up before he plays again! Stash him until next year... Sewell is a lost cause...Dexter is a BIG loss...
