Here's who the 2025 home and road opponents will be for the Bears:

-Home: Lions, Packers, Vikings, Cowboys, Giants, Browns, Steelers, Saints
-Road: Lions, Packers, Vikings, Ravens, Bengals, Raiders, Eagles, 49ers, Commanders

I know this had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of the game but after Keenan Allen threw the interception he put his hands in his jersey pockets and walked toward the sidelines while the play was still going on and the guy who made the interception was running toward him....Just sayin'

Username absolutely positively does NOT fit. Actually the Bears haven't had a perfect end to their season since the Superbowl Shuffle.
I posted that right after the DJ Moore fumble so it seemed like a fitting end to this season, who knew they'd come back and win with a 51 yard field goal!

Somehow they managed to be the “best” of the 5-12 teams. Really shows what garbage the bottom third of the league was this season.
I believe the seeding is based on the winning percentage of your schedule. Worse schedule with the worst record wins higher draft picks. The Lions, Vikings and Packers for 6 games is a lot to overcome.

Is this the method, or do they use the playoff tiebreakers but as a mirror image? In other words, if two teams have the same record but one beat the other head to head, then does the loser gets the higher draft pick?

In addition to #10, the Bears have locked in picks 39 (from CAR), 41 and 72. They also have four picks in rounds 5-7. I would expect OT, IOL and DL to cover 3, if not all 4, of those top picks (unless they make a bold move in free agency or a trade).

They use SOS as the first tiebreaker. The Jets and Panthers could have actually flipped in terms of draft order if the Vikings had beaten the Lions last night based on SOS. Things like head-to-head and the other playoff tiebreakers only come into play after SOS.

Let's see ... last 2 failed coaches were off the radar coordinators way over their head. Time for a John Fox-like retread that the game has passed by.

McCarthy fits.

Isn’t it said that the definition of Insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result?

There are coaches out there that could begin to solve the Bears problems. None of which that the Bears Ownership is likely willing to pay for.

Or will we live long enough to see the Bears try something that actually – works? (Maybe THAT thought is... insanity (?!))
