There had to have been at least 6-8 drops by the Bears receivers. Caleb still needs to be better at getting the ball out quickly.

Today should be the last day we see Zacchaeus. Luther Burden needs to take over that spot moving forward.
kept thinking the same, drop after drop

Looking at the Bears' 2nd half schedule, it will be very difficult to stay in playoff contention but it's good to know with 6 wins we have become bowl eligible.

;)

for the Bears to go 4-3 the rest of they way, more than a few things need to go our way.
it could happen, but I would say the odds are less than 50%, maybe as low as 35%. winning out at home will not be likely with two of those games the Pack and Lions . All the road games we will be underdogs

Burden needs to get Olamide's snaps as he has been junk lately...

I think it’s quite unlikely the Bears go 4-3 over the remaining season. For that to happen the most important thing that would need to happen is that one of the Bears’ 8 remaining games would need to be cancelled.

TBH the Bears probably end up around 9-8 (10-7 if they get lucky). I see 2 home games with Pitts & Cleveland where Bears will likely be a slight favorite. And they could beat Green Bay at home. Perhaps Detroit in week 17 if they aren't playing for anything.

It does seem that they have the pieces coming together on offense to be maybe a year way from serious playoff consideration & 2 years away from being a threat in the playoffs. They have to address the defense in the offseason though. This is the scary part as a Bear fan when it is up to the front office to advance them forward. In their defense they do appear to have gotten the coaching hire right this time.

hard to catch the ball in and amongst the trees
Hard to give the trees any credit when you drop three perfectly thrown balls that would have resulted in a TD, huge gain and a first down. I suspect Burden is going to start taking many more of his snaps. Yesterday was just about as bad of a day for a group of NFL wideouts that I can remember.

Bears get to play them again. This time the Bears will beat them like a 90 year old Senator.
