A lot of coaches are producing surprises this year...anyone's award...but free weiners should provide some goodwill...

The talk is nice and all, but first year Bears head coach getting COY?
Let's just say I'll be good with it if the award goes to someone else.

Looking at the remaining schedules and I think it’s quite likely the Bears (and everyone else in the NFC Central) are going to have to have 12 wins to make the playoffs.

Two of the Bears, Packers, Lions, 9ers, Rams and Seahawks will miss the playoffs.

I think only one of those teams will miss. Two division winners and 3 WCs out of those 6 teams.

I get you but there is a helluva a better track record with Johnson than with Nagy. Nagy rode Patrick McCombs coattails to the HC job. Johson resurrected and corrected Geoff to earn his HC job. When Nagy left KC, they did not miss a beat, look at the Lion's without Johnson, hell give him coach of the year if the Bears win the North if they do, he will have earned it. i have no doubt he is a better coach than Nagy and will be a better one moving forward.

Turns out it was all Virginia's fault (kidding, mostly). Reminiscent of the Blackhawks after Dollar Bill was gone.

yea, one could argue the last 25-30 years . they (her & Ed) kept the team in the mom & pop mentality long after the league had grown way past that .

i’m still expecting news one day about a partial or total sale of remaining family ownership shares

I think that’s a fumble recovered by Green Bay. Luckily ruled an incomplete pass.
