Universe wanted Bears-Packers apparently. Congrats to the Lions for winning the only Super Bowl they’ll ever win. Amon-Ra St Bozo can hit that celly all day long on his couch next weekend

yeah, that felt oddly tone deaf from such a talented player

On paper, a beat-up Packer team on a four game losing streak is who you should want to play in the first playoff game. I’m worried how this is a historically bad matchup for the Bears. Judging by the two games they played it’s a toss-up. In any case although the defense gave up only 19 points today, if they play like they did these last two games they have no shot.

On Forward Progress podcast they are saying the Bears are the first team to make the playoffs giving up 42 or more points in three games.

It was a poor throw by Caleb.

A bullet at 5 yards, not on the #s. Super hard to catch.
He's an NFL receiver. The ball had heat on it, it's cold out, but Burden simply has to make that play. It hit him in the hands and in stride. It wasn't meant to be on the numbers. If he catches that, it might still be running. The Bears had 5 dropped balls today. That needs to be cleaned up.

sad thing is even if they had an average amount of dropped passes he'd be well above 4K this year....
Spot on. They lead the league in drops and it's unfortunate. That needs to be addressed. I know it was a touch catch, but Burden has to catch that ball. He's an NFL receiver. He had both hands on it and it hit him in full stride. This isn't Mizzou. That should have been an explosive play and the Bears would have been in business.

Some speculation I've seen among Bears fans is that Johnson intentionally made the gameplan for this week's game to be fairly vanilla and that he was going to break out some of his tricks in the playoffs.

Most of Caleb's throws are not on the #s and a lot of them are hot throws from short...just a little more touch on them and completions are assured...
to my eyes, that throw was in stride and catchable (not thrown too hard). its a throw he would have thrown much harder last year, WR has to make that play. could he have softened up more? sure, but i didnt see it as eating up the receiver
