In the last 2 years there were stretches that we didn't get 8 goals in 5 or 6 games.

imagine when they add Frondell, McKenna, Boisvert, Moore, Kantserov and Lardis next season. Korch and EDM probably too. not to mention McKenna

Behm - 6 goals in 7 games
Mustard - 2 goals in 2 games

Vanacker’s a guy I was interested in when he was drafted. Good to see he’s stepping it up this year.

Vanacker had shoulder surgery, which most definitely had an impact on his development and production last season. he's a 200' dawg with pretty good skill and size. I'm high on him, sneaky good pick. next season in Rockford and, hopefully, he'll be pounding on the door in '27-28

Unfortunately, that's 4 losses this year in 4 games tied going into the 3rd. At least 2 were OT losses.

Was at the game; hard to tell live on the Bertuzzi "interference". But that slashing call that gave Van the PP that they scored their first on was Charmin soft.
Not to mention the coincidental minors to Bertuzzi and Sherwood in the first period. What were they looking at?

I don’t know the NHL rule book that well but certainly seemed like a ridiculous goalie interference. The review was an exercise of CYA. The disappointing thing is losing a game you were up 2-0 in at home. You could see things going against the Hawks in the last ten minutes. I think the Canucks had three power plays in the last ten minutes of the game. The last one at the end, I don’t think the Hawks ever got the puck out of their own zone once. The PK unit was exhausted. The five minute OT was almost exclusively in the Hawks’s zone as well. The shootout was bad. Not meaning to be overly critical but it would be nice to see one of the young stars bury a penalty shot at some point. Anyway beat the Clucks tomorrow night.
