Chicago Blackhawks 2025-2026

Kantserov leads in KHL goals and 2nd in points. and that's at 21...most of the other top goal scorers and points leaders are much much older. kid isn't big, but he goes to the net. physical play doesn't phase him

Frondell and Kantserov are 1A and 1B on the top prospect list IMO and Kantserov might be 1A.

Bedard will be a nice complementary piece on Kantserov’s line. :D

Bedard has NHL level talent on his line now and look what he's doing. Should only get better when guys like Frondell and Kantserov join the team, not to mention the guys in Rockford. They'll have to start trading some of these guys away in the not too distant future - not enough room for everyone.

Means there is some upcoming regression

probably so. here's another eye opening stat (PP Opportunities v PP Opportunities Against). hope we see regression there too

from today's Athletic article:

"The Chicago Blackhawks are 4-0-1 in their last five games. Pretty small sample size, sure. But they’re 9-3-3 in their last 15, a .700 points percentage that’s third-best in the NHL in that time span, trailing only Colorado and New Jersey.

They’re closing out games, they’re winning close games, and they rallied for their first third-period comeback win Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. They lead the league with 30 third-period goals (with only 14 against), and they have the third-best goal differential in the league at plus-12. Hockey is fun again in Chicago. Can it last? It’s starting to look like it can."

FWLIW, I don't think Moore is going back down

hopefully, Rinzel gets back in form (the reset works)

how 'bout Crevier? pretty amazing for a 7th rounder. and he's still improving at a good clip

I was Team Demidov, but Lev has been really good lately. really, really good. and he's 20

how you liking the rebuild now?
