FWLIW, I don't think Moore is going back down

hopefully, Rinzel gets back in form (the reset works)

how 'bout Crevier? pretty amazing for a 7th rounder. and he's still improving at a good clip

I was Team Demidov, but Lev has been really good lately. really, really good. and he's 20

how you liking the rebuild now?
It really stinks when your team is so bad for a long time but man can you get good after having so many top draft picks. It's how the Cubs won the World Series in 2016.

Anyone know if the Hawks have a couple Duncan Keiths in the pipeline?
You mean Hall of Famers? Hard to say at this point. Guys to watch out for are Rinzel, Levshunov, Vlasic, Korchinski in the minors. I'd say of the group, maybe Levshunov may be the closest of the four listed above but he has a long way to go. He's improving as the year has gone on. I'd imagine that next year, they probably would only have 1 grizzled veteran in the team the other 5-6 spots will be held by the young guns.

Consistently ready to play and jumping on teams early? Maybe there is something to this coaching thing after all! ;)

Blashill's been great, but the results for last season's team would have been poor (but better) had he been at the helm.

looking forward to next season:
Frondell - Bedard - Burakovksy
Bertuzzi - Nazar - Lardis
Moore - Kantserov - Teravainen
Donato - Greene - Dach

Not a lot of beef in that lineup but lotsa speed…

To add to this post, guys like Rinzel and especially Levshunov have bounced back after being a healthy scratch early in the season. I think Rinzel was scratched in the Toronto game and came back with a nice game against Calgary. Levshunov was scratched earlier in the year and has played very well since then.

our back end is loaded (and not with poo)

Vlasic already is a VVG SHD (and at 6' 6" he's a mutant)
Duncan Kaiser has taken huge steps this year. legit top 4 guy and maybe more. great hockey IQ, great skater and unreal agility. perfect partner for Lev
Crevier: straight mutant. way more than just a guy. and he's getting better

Rinzel and Lev have a ton a talent, obviously. both should benefit greatly by getting a season under their belts

and then there's Korchinski, Del Mastro and Allan waiting in the wings

I think we're good

Was "Duncan" Kaiser done purposely to be a clone between Duncan Keith and Wyatt Kaiser?
