Chicago Blackhawks 2025-2026

Bedard has to just keep playing though. Didn’t look like he got the hands on the replay. Borderline hook maybe.
Yeah, I think it was close and they probably will call that more times than not. Bedard can't get that minor after that. though.

I only watched the third period and Seattle dominated play from what I saw. Last night, the second period woes moved to the third.

someone please explain to me why the timing is curious and what is messy about it ?

from Pope's CST article:

"The timing is curious, considering the Hawks unveiled new gold-trimmed red jerseys for their centennial season just five months ago and likely still have lots of stock of those left to sell.

The rollout was messy, too, since Fanatics — the NHL’s much-detested official outfitter — apparently leaked the jersey to some bloggers and influencers in October."

Blackhawks blow another 2-0 lead and lose their fourth in a row to the Wild. It was a terrible interference call that gave Minnesota a 4 on 3 advantage but they shouldn’t have been in that position. Played a great first two periods but gave up a late goal in the second that gave the Wild some life. They need to take care of business against a bad Nashville team on Friday or this could really spiral.

The Chelios one takes me back to childhood, and I'm biased cause he is one of my all-time favorites (If not all-time fav). Both slick though!
Slap in the face when they traded him to (of all teams) Detroit. It kills me to see pictures of him in Red Wing jersey.
Same with Kane...albeit in a roundabout way for him because at least he was traded to Rangers.

Is it too much to ask for good, consistent refs?

The first two goals against was a deflection off a Hawks player and tho he second was a tip in. They certainly deserved to get more than OTL.

That time period was horrible... I lost Belfour... J.R... Chelios... sometimes it feels like the Blackhawks try to punish me just for being a fan 😅

Bedsy definitely has a little more juice to his game this year, like seeing the emotion. 98 is real good and now he's letting folks know. 3 Goals Against may not look great on the stat sheet, but Knight keeping it at 3 was huge.

Great comeback against another really good young team in the West.
