You are 100% correct about Thibs wanting Green, atleast that is the way I understood it. ESPN via Friedell said Gar/Pax were reluctant to make a move, especially one involving Pau, because they were afraid that it would look like they were throwing in the towel on the season. These two have to be some of the most stubborn guys running any team any where. I would like the front office to commit to Butler, Rose, Portis, Snell and maybe McDermot(can't have enough floor stretchers), everyone else should've been on the block. So what if you tank this season, we are probably going to be anywhere from a 6 seed to barely missing and even if you miss Lebron in the first round, well they re-seed now, so you are definitely going to see them soon. The game I was at last night was great. Kobe shoots a ton, but that is what everyone wanted to see. He had a great start to the 3rd, scoring on 4 straight possessions, vintage Kobe. The Lakers IMO are better when Kobe sits, because he shoots it every time he gets it. Byron Scott sat Kobe almost all of the 4th which was disappointing, but I understood why, they were playing well. Our Bulls fans treated Kobe in a first class way, I was very happy to see that. Not much of a ceromny, a little video during player introductions and Pau announced him.
