Wade Davis was really good In 2017. David Robertson was solid until we traded him in 22.
Who would we even go to? Leiter? He’s the only guy who has actually been better than Adbert.
You’re right, Davis was good. Not sure who they’d go to now. Neris has been a closer before. I guess they need to develop one in AAA or lower.

The issue with Alzolay is pretty simple. Last year he gave up 5 HRs in 64 innings. This year he’s given up 4 HRs in 10 innings.

He’s leaving the ball up and it’s getting hammered. It should be fixable, but not sure you want to be using him in high leverage situations while he works out the kinks.

yea , I’m not saying he can’t be a closer or your 8th inning guy eventually , but very doubtful he can be that guy this year .

it’s time to cherry pick the best reliever off one of the 5-6 teams that are already not built for any kind of decent year

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait a while. Trades are almost never made this time of year. Not sure where to turn now. The Merryweather injury really hurt us.

Meanwhile....I guess Morel's glove is keeping him in the lineup. :ROFLMAO:
