I heard it as "win every series." Winning 2 of every 3 games gives us 108 wins in the regular season.
I love it. Both are kinda of getting at the same thing because of course you aren't going to win EVERY series but a sweep makes up for a series where you get 1 of 3. The math nerd in me loves that haha

You dislike the statement or dislike the fact that they have had many opportunities to sweep after winning the first 2 and have done it only once ? Their GM has even said that they need to do that. Yes I'll take 2 out of 3 in every series but they are going to lose series (like they did the last 2) and sometimes even get swept. This was the Marlins at home.

I dislike them not winning game 3 after winning the first two

Suzuki down to .238

How long before our expensive DH is hitting below the Mendoza line?

Suzuki lol

PCA loses the ball in the sun and calls for assistance early and Suzuki just stands there

He’s a true hero

Can’t hit, catch, throw, or run the bases

Only 1-3 with 2 RBI's today. Might as well DFA the guy. So what if he has the highest average exit velocity and hard hit% on the team and is 16th in MLB in barrel rate. It's clear he is in over his head...

Did Seiya steal your girlfriend or something? You haven't had anything to say except anti-Suzuki stuff for weeks.

He can hit, 20th in wrc+ over last 3 seasons in the league (babip way down this year and he's still well above average in the league) and has a decent enough arm. I concede the other two points.

I don't know Ken Williams
Lou Brock = Horse's Ask
Eric Davis = Plick Lou Boudreau advised Jody Davis to write his name in a book and look at it often until he got even
Barry Bonds = Cheater

PCA = The Greatest maybe along with Ken Williams

Let's snap the double jinx tomorrow.
A chance for a 3 game sweep and a Sunday game.
If you can't do it against the White Sox at home.....
Their record on Sundays and in the final game of a series that they can sweep is abysmal and borderline unbelievable. Not sure if there's a correlation with the lineups Counsell sends out there or who in the rotation is up, but it's incredible.

The Sox are awful. The Cubs have curb stomped them back to back days. If they lose tomorrow because they scored one run, there needs to be an investigation.

and the Mets traded him for Baez & Trevor Williams..................
Yeah, but baseball history is littered with trades and mistakes like that. I mean Cubs nontendered Schwarber. In fact unless Alcantara pans out, Cubs didn’t do very well with the trades that dismantled the WS team unless I’m missing some other trade that worked out for the good guys.
