Will Coach K claim any wins and try to give the losses to Capel while he is out? That seems to be his history!

Exactly! The team must be worse then anyone thought, despite all the 5 star talent. Watch out Coach Capel! Just ask Coach Gaudet. "Gee, guys, sorry, my back is worse than I thought. Let me know how the season ends up."

Since it is Duke related, I thought I would put it here rather than starting a new thread. You have often seen one player being confused, but the entire Duke women's team played defense on the wrong end of the basket, ending up as the easiest Louisville basket ever.

Shocker - Grayson Allen starting tonight after his HUGE 1 game suspension. I knew this was coming after K specifically brought up (after the VA Tech game) that they had removed him as a team captain. Clearly setting up the "we've punished him enough" story. Classic dook.

I saw the Louisville women's coach in a coaches clinic a couple years ago. He was going over the quirky things he does in games and some jump ball plays he runs. He specifically mentioned doing this and had a DVD with game film showing that all this stuff worked. Crazy to see it happen with the scouting that goes on in today's game.

K missed part of a season in mid 90's. Maybe 94 season. Pete Gaudet coached rest of season which ended in a missed NCAA bid and K fired Gaudet at end of year. And later petitioned NCAA to have those losses removed from his record and to no ones surprise they obliged.

He shouldn't have the losses (or wins) in the games he didn't coach in counted on his record. I seem to remember something more fishy though like he wanted the losses in the games he coached in before just he stepped down removed as well but could I could be mistaken.
