I'm not trying to denigrate Drake or anyone on its staff, but I don't see how an assistant at Drake can get a head coaching job and someone like Chester Frazier is struggling to get a head coaching job if (and I'm making an assumption here) he's applying and receiving interviews. If there aren't any applications or interest in head coaching positions OR if it's the Illini assistants going through interviews and withdrawing since they don't feel the openings are the right fit, then I'll retract that statement.

Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas ... In that order ... Bama is not far behind nowadays ... Florida is very much a distant 5th but still above the rest ...

And I think there is a BIG drop-off after that ... Just talking basketball ...
Goodman made a comment earlier this week that Alabama is only around $1M and middle of the pack in the SEC. Know NIL is a black box with everyone throwing out different numbers and they seem to have had pretty solid talent past few years

You'll rememberWayne as the coach that forced Weber to switch to a press, saving our greatest season ever. He was also the coach that stayed When Self left for greener pastures. Let's not !!!! on Wayne's name.

Luwdoo, I know you weren't.

Apparently Cal to Arkansas is a viable thing? Seems iffy given how their offseason has gone, but man would that create some chaos..

That would force me to change my description of this move from "Steve Alford career path" to "John Calipari career path". It would completely rename the move where a coach takes a lateral or lesser move to jump before being pushed.
