Why? I am not at all sure about him either, but he did what seemed to me at least to be a terrific job at Penn State (a non-basketball power).

I wouldn't disagree with that. Though there is nearly no one I think would do better than Underwood (I have a name in mind, but he is not on anyone's list here and I am all but certain would be uninterested unfortunately).

pretty much, two leading scorers were freshmen (including Micah's son) and third leading scorer was a Seton Hall transfer

Also my reaction to Shrewsberry would be very nervous. I just don’t know how I would feel good about it until I saw the results.
