well that would halt the carousel
So Billy to Kentucky a go? lol
Billy to Kentucky?
This you?I am in the minority, I'm pretty ambivalent towards Underwood. I don't dislike him, but I also don't love him like others do. I'd be quite happy if Miller ended up here, and wouldn't lose a minute of sleep. I'd personally view it as an upgrade.
Can he take the Bulls front office with him too? They all need to go.
That's an upgrade.well that would halt the carousel
Shortest carousel in history?Yup that's the word going around Phoenix right now ...
Yep. But it's Kentuckythat feels like a head scratcher of a hire if it happens imo. one of the best coaches of his time, but he has been out of college for almost 10 years now. it is a different sport now.
Well, that would put an abrupt end to the speculation. Billy needs to get out of the dumpster fire that is the Bulls. That would make total sense for him. The question would be, does he want to get involved in recruiting again? It's a whole different deal now.Yup that's the word going around Phoenix right now ...
Lord knows the Bulls ain’t the end all be all that’s for sureYep. But it's Kentucky
yes, it's more like the pro game now, so.....that feels like a head scratcher of a hire if it happens imo. one of the best coaches of his time, but he has been out of college for almost 10 years now. it is a different sport now.
Mussels abandoning the USC job to go to Kentucky? LolWow.....
And this isn't Illinois related
But wow...
It is, but it suits a former NBA coach who has a lot of NIL $$$that feels like a head scratcher of a hire if it happens imo. one of the best coaches of his time, but he has been out of college for almost 10 years now. it is a different sport now.
Considering how everything played out, I'd argue BU should be elated with how things were handled, particularly in how BU got to avoid getting tangled up in this saga. This was/is a complex case that was automatically going to trigger legal and university athletic department and student conduct policies the minute that he got charged. Sure, you can argue university policies showed some flaws that should be remedied, but you have to consider the current policies on the books that were freely available for everyone to scrutizne had never been put to this unique test.Anyway, the subsequent suspension proves to have a minor impact on the course of the season, and the suspension is even cut short. BU cleans up in regard to the latter, with the university mounting a token legal defense leading to a ruling which then allows BU to mostly avoid criticism with playing him due to the court order. We play games, the stories simmer but dont boil over, the team gels really well and develops a true connection, and the whole situation really didn't become the disastrous implosion that it could have very well become. Brad Underwood ended up with the opportunity to play for a national championship with a full strength team that was performing at a high level and came up just short. And for that, BU should be greatful.I'd be a little worried. Brad was not happy with the handling of Shannon. I think he'd listen to Kentucky but I guess it comes down to if Underwood is actually their best option, especially when it comes to age
Bulls season is almost overHas an NBA coach ever left mid season to take a college job? Would be truly fitting for that disaster of a franchise
