The counter is Donovan doesn’t like recruiting. He’s the much more successful version of Chip Kelly.

Lets just get ahead of this now... In my heart of hearts I do not think this carousel will impact Brad per se. Cannot believe he is not the right fit for UK. He's a fresh 60 and I'd imagine UK wants to go younger and someone who has been a high major recruiter and program builder (not that Brad has not been by any means)
Nate Oats (49) or Hurley (51) would be better fits IMO and at the top of the list for UK. They should be backing up the Brinks truck for either of those two dudes.
I am thinking more will this impact Chester and him leaving to go to another program to either be AHC or maybe even take a lower tier HC job.
That will inherently impact recruiting as there are already rumors that Jase Butler is looking at other options and will potentially ask out of his NLI.
This is going to be a VERY interesting week or so.

I had 3 friends who are bat s*it crazy UK fans email me , asking about my thoughts on Coach BU to UK.........I told them that I
thought BU is not mature enough for the high brow UK fandom.........my thoughts were based on................................
1.......He makes fart noises in public all the time , even in pressers.........very immature....
2......He eats popcorn like a 3 year old and needs a sippy cup for all liquids.....very immature.....
3......The embarrassing video of his obscene topless water soaker exploits in the locker room......very very immature.....
Told them these 3 examples are just the tip of the immaturity iceberg........ I really really did..........
They all emailed me back , thanking me for my honesty.......they really really did.......can't make this crap up......lol...........
I was at my car dealership last week. The owners are big Illinois fans. One of their salesmen was walking around with his Kentucky attire on. I thought to myself that I will never talk to that guy about a car. There are too many Kentucky fans in Southern Illinois for my tastes.
Hopefully that don't poach Brad. They already poached some of our assistants several years back.

I hope and think you’re right. I don’t see Kentucky wanting to hire someone at Underwood’s age, and I don’t know if he would want to have what would likely be his last job at that meat grinder.
But, if he’s approached, I could see him saying “Why not? I get one more BIG contract, and I get a chance to bring one of the biggest names in basketball back to prominence.”
I do think the probability of Underwood leaving for Kentucky is small, but I also think it’s greater than zero.
