So we have no formal statement from Drew declaring fealty to Baylor, akin to the one Oates released.

Donovan at the NBA level wouldn’t release such a thing but we’ve seen nothing from any legit source saying he’s declined an offer.

I’ve seen nothing from *anywhere* bonafide outside of this board listing Brad among the top 3 or 5 or 8 names if UK has their way.

I’m not hammering the panic button quite yet.

Not sure Drew can issue said statement until he's first (a) listened to the offer, (b) consulted his family, and (c) turned down the offer.

I truly think that UK comes down to Brad and Sean … Dark horse that no one’s talking about: Todd Golden …

I think Drew stays at Baylor … I really do … Drew’s all like PRIVATE schools …

And I think Billy stays in the NBA …
*gulp*

Lexington Herald updated their potential candidates 1.5 hours ago and no Underwood on that list

You also mentioned this morning that you'd be surprised if it went beyond Donovan or Drew.

Not at all where I thought we would be, but in some ways this is pretty complimentary. UK took two assistants and we reloaded. Now they could have interest in our coach too? We are doing something right and honestly if Sean would be the next guy, that’s not a downgrade by any means….that being said… I want Brad to stay.
And since the time UK took our coaches, BU and the Illini have a better resume than UK.

Kentucky bullying Calipari to Arkansas for lack of recent tournament success to hire a guy who has been to one sweet sixteen in his entire coaching career, who is only five years younger than Cal just seems like a recipe for disaster. I think their fans would honestly hate the hire and I expect he'd get fired in like three years unless he makes a Final Four in that time. I guess if he wants a payday before he hangs his career up, but Illinois is a much more sustainable place for him based on the goodwill built up.
