I just have a really hard time seeing Drew or Billy at UK ...

Oats is out ... Otz would not take it ... Hurley would use it as leverage on UCONN maybe ... But does he even need it ?

Brad and Sean ... Golden ? I mean who else is realistic ... Curious if you guys have any names you might think about if you were AD ?

I wouldn't listen to the insiders. Kentucky is looking for more cache than Underwood. I think Baylor should be very concerned that Scott Drew leaves unless he wants stay true like Mark Few has at Gonzaga

It might be soft to run away from a challenge. It's probably not soft to run toward one. Certain things can make top tier jobs easier, but other things can make them significantly more difficult. Brad wouldn't be taking the UK job because he's giving up; he would be taking it because he wants to take on the challenge. It's the opposite of backing down.
Agree to disagree. The bigger challenge would be to complete what you’ve been building here. Not to start over at a place with known built in advantages.

It's a good confidence booster to put things in perspective. "At least I can't screw up THAT bad!"

Slick Rick ...

Absolutely not ... Josh is a not a Mick fan ...

I could see it ...

He's not leaving Marquette for here ... Shaka knows he needs to be at a basketball only school ... Marquette is a perfect fit ...
I was referring to who KY can go to after BU tells KY to go pound sand.😉

I thought you asked who else would Kentucky go to besides BU or Miller.

What’s the draw of Sean Miller at Illinois, that’s what I keep asking myself lol. I don’t see how he is an upgrade from Brad
I don't see Miller as an upgrade, but I can understand if Miller likes the Illinois job. I get Kentucky is a blue blood. I just don't see it as a better job overall. It could be my orange kool-aid talking.

My short list if Underwood left would be Miller, Micah, Golden, Otz (doubt he'd leave), and Lloyd (doubt he'd leave) in no order

Vegas doesn’t know everything, but I just saw betting odds of Kentucky’s next coach and Brad Underwood is +3300 and Jay Wright is at +2500. Feels like this will all blow over soon.

I wouldn't say from scratch, that first season where he was a 1 seed was pretty much all Miller guys

I agree. Baylor seems like the perfect place for Drew. I don’t see it at Kentucky. I could see Miller taking it just because the money will be too much to turn down. I feel like unless it’s Hurley anyone they get at this point will be a letdown to their fan base.
