Sometimes I feel like Ernest T. and want to isolate myself from the grind of portalling and searching for a new AC , as it has taxed my stability as a functioning human being......But , rather than running and hiding from that temptation , I just med up as much as possible and carry on in my love of all things Illini........
They took away my chief , but they will never take away my love for him and the Illini programs.......no matter how much they try to take from me just makes my support grow stronger..........I believe in the O & B magic that came into my life at such an early age......I'm too old to change my spots , good , bad or ugly .......so , to all you distractors of the Illini Nation.........................

Dan I really enjoyed the answers/discussion I got back in yesterdays thread. I didn’t respond to anyone because I didn’t want to completely derail the thread (and hope this post doesn’t do that).
Have you ever considered of having a separate section of the board for such conversation? On other forums I’ve seen them called “The Lounge”, “The Tavern”, etc. just a place where off topic discussion can be redirected and carried out. (Not that we ever drift too far off topic here…)

I was going to take it, but turns out you can't drink beer on the bench. That was a deal breaker for me.
