Don’t think Franklin is willing to wait on others to go through full search when he’s got guaranteed job at Va Tech … And can get jump start on portal …

That seems like a better fit to me than FSU.
There are very few true difference makers in the coaching ranks. Maybe 3 or 4? From number 5 through 30 its really all about a fresh start. Just like in the pro leagues.
For programs like ours stability is key. For higher tier they're just looking for a reset that keeps fans and donors happy.
So you're right. Nothing on the list above will change the trajectories of those programs, except to the extent it charges up donor money.
