Well said. The lack of long term development for OL in college is also why we're seeing such little depth of OL in the NFL these days as well IMO.

Surprised nobody has posted a summary yet (unless it's burried in another thread?)
The prosecution alleged:
-SM had an affair with the victim for multiple years
-Victim broke off the relationship on Monday
-SM continued to send unwanted texts and phone calls
-Victim goes to the AD
-After the termination, SM goes to her house, grabbed butter knives and kitchen scissors, and threatened to kill himself, saying "you ruined my life" and "my blood is on your hands."
The judge ordered:
-No alcohol, marijuanna or any other controlled substance
-No contact of any kind with the victim
-No firearms
-Ongoing mental health evaluation
-Released with GPS monitor, plus can't leave the state
What's next:
-Jan 22, 2026 for probably cause hearing

I like seeing guys go out on top on their own terms.
I don't know why these coaches, who are fabulously wealthy, want to spend their 70s kissing 18 years old's butts to try to get them to come play for them. Then put in the hours it takes to be a big time coach. Step aside and let the next generation take their turn. If you want to stay around the game, go into the booth, or work with a high school team. Go coach your grandkids.

Wow, it’s a surprise to see them strike out on a guy like Dillingham. Although, I could see if the fact that this is leaking out is intentional to put pressure on Michigan. Perhaps Dillingham and his camp don’t want to be a second choice fallback option, and the idea of waiting on an answer from Deboer is not where they want to be. If they strike out on both Deboer and Dillingham, that seems like a rough place to be.Not a great start for the search..

You can "spin" this however you want.
When you continually have to dip into other team rosters and juco for lineman you are not sufficiently
identifying high school lineman or developing the same. This is a worse case scenario when were competing
against teams with more NIL $. We need to save our spending on skill positions, not the OL. strange that
coach B had a reputation for just this thing at Wisconsin. There seems to be a weak link here somewhere.
or dillingham's agent is using the michigan job to get a big fat raise?
