Fitz seemingly putting together a decent staff. Time will tell. Money talks . They seem to have plenty right now

Michigan is in a really tough spot. They probably need to fire Warde Manuel and let a new AD hire the football coach. The odds of getting the coach you want are long because the AD situation is a major red flag. But that will obviously take a significant amount of time.

If I were running things, I'd swallow hard, fire Manuel, keep Biff on a one year interim deal, hire a new AD, and let the new AD hire a coach in the next cycle. Short-term, that would stink for them. Long-term, I think it's the best long-term option.

That's not ideal 😉

People who are connected, why are we seeing more of blue bloods get snubbed lately? Is it coaches not wanting to deal with unrealistic expectations? NIL leveling the playing field?

I can’t stand Michigan, but it’s definitely a top 10 coaching job.

It’s different in every situation … I’ve said on here many times, Kenny never wanted to leave ASU … He just wanted compensated fairly, his staff compensated very fairly and have resources that at least got him CLOSE to the elite … Sounds just like someone we’ve got … LOL … But it’s true …

To be very honest, with NIL the blue bloods aren’t as attractive as they once were … If you’ve got a great AD, great situation with staff and resources … What’s the incentive to leave ? You can be a legend at ASU, Illinois winning 8+ games a year … Or just be another dude at a blue blood … And at a school like Michigan, 8 wins will get you friggin fired … 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d be more worried about keeping Dusty May happy and throwing more money at his program if I was Michigan … FWIW - Dusty doesn’t care for Manuel …

Fire Manuel IMMEDIATELY … Then let the new AD make the hire … It’s Michigan … You can’t roll with an interim guy …

But what do I know … 😂

Well also Dillingham is an ASU grad and from Phoenix. I personally love seeing people stay home.

I think it would be miserable to be one of these coaches that is moving every 2 or 3 years or more. Find a home and make your home great, stop chasing more.

I do not know what Michigan is thinking, especially if May does not like the AD. Everyday that goes by, it will make thinks even tougher for Michigan. Players in the portal will not look at Michigan as stable and not transfer there. I believe players want play timing time, stability and NIL money. Illinois has all three aspects. Michigan is following in Penn State’s shoes on thinking they are the Michigan of old when they are not. Michigan needs to act quickly or fall out of grace like Penn State has.

Dumb idea, if the Ravens miss the playoffs would Michigan consider the other Harbaugh as a candidate. I am pretty Minter is their top from-the-NFL candidates.

Are we 100% sure what’s happening in Chapel Hill isn’t just some mockumentary on the state of college football today? I mean, you almost cannot make this stuff up in real life.
UNC hiring Belichick last year may possibly be one of the most stupid hiring decisions in the game in the last 25 years . I’m trying hard to think of a worse one .

It made no sense 12 months ago and makes less sense today .

Counterpoint: if UNC is put into the SEC with ESPN mainly responsible, it is not that bad of a Faustian deal...
