Any thoughts on a running back coach for the Orange and Blue. We do have a young corp of rb's in the stable.

Apparently GB OL was 27th ranked going into last few games, after which they went up to 19th for some reason during the 4 game losing streak. Puzzling is that "OC" Stenavich was the OL coach that Butkus worked for prior to his elevation. Their health was an issue, but the rotations were puzzling. Even if LeFleur stays, LB might be looking for a job.

See you Saturday 😉
I have no preconceived notions that we will win. Seattle is the better team in almost all respects. The only glimmering hope is that your quarterback is still Sam Darnold. And honestly, he's really turned out to have a solid career!

Our team is just too hurt to overcome it. I'd be happy for Witherspoon to get a ring. Good luck in the NFC championship!

it is crazy that the Bears - Rams game is on Sunday (both played last Sat) and the NFL is making SF play on short rest and play Seattle on Saturday.
NFL loves to give lip service to player safety , but its 100% 3ullsh1t and everyone knows it. Goodell is a total tool

Why are none of Indiana’s coordinators being poached? Any chance there was a mass exodus on our D because Henry is out?

Can someone plant something in Aaron Henry’s locker so we can get a serious coordinator in here. Especially if the defense is gonna be sorta sketchy talent wise this year. We need a legit coordinator. Not some charity case

I mean the 49ers got 8 days rest compared to 7 for the Eagles. And the Bears played on short rest this weekend. Panthers got 8 days rest and lost to the Rams. They’ve been playing Thursday games for years now. It’s about TV but let’s not act like a Saturday game in the same time zone is some huge disadvantage.

Edit: sorry for continuing this in the coaching thread Dan

Are you making a news announcement here? . . .

Poached for other coordinator jobs or poached as head coaches?

In terms of head coaching jobs, only P4 schools can afford them, and the two coordinators are 36 and 40. Their time will come.

The basic football industry reaction to what's going on at Indiana right now is that they can't believe what they're seeing.

No reason teams can't go further down the coaching staff. I'm sure they have some AHC position coach who they hope can capture Cig's magic and are ambitious enough to strike out on their own.

In the Semifinal game they were talking about how they have been approached but love the work/life balance Cignetti allows them to have.
I think the main answer is the $$$ they are getting, as several posters already stated.

But I'd love to peek behind the curtain and reconcile the work / life comments they mentioned in-game with the comments about Cig winning due to his extreme attention to detail (which I've also heard many times). How do they do so much 'number crunching' and still get home to tuck in the kiddies?

Maybe some new kind of Peter Brand cooking in Bloomington?
