Smartest move
Have you seen the view from the Pepperdine campus? There likely isn't a better one in Division I. Lorenzo Romar is a seasoned veteran. He left Arizona, where the basketball program is mired in controversy, to become a head coach again in Malibu, California.
In the opposite of a carousel, Jamie Dixon got a two year extension at TCU through 2023-24.
He played it perfect. He went to his alma mater and gets a way better standard for his coaching. Pitt got spoiled and they were ready to run him out the door. He took TCU because he saw what was going on and he had a chance to go home rather than stick where he wasn't appreciated and recruiting has traditionally been a little tough.I remember thinking he was crazy for going there. But you pull a couple kids outta Texas every year, and baby, you got yourself a stew goin.

Things will ramp up here if Izzo pulls the plug.
Izzo didnt look like he was pulling any plug at the EYBL tournament today in Dallas.
