I agree. Word is going to leak eventually anyways. If someone mentions in this thread there is a conflict, but leaves out all of the details, we're going to speculate.

As long as we are speculating, I'll throw out it could be about not enough Dr Pepper in the vending machines.
Not trying to be a jerk. What has Gentry done since he has been at Illinois?? I know OA and Chin have brought in some high end talent. Just from what I know and see, I'll take OA and Chin over 1 Gentry all day every day.I hope it doesn't come to Gentry being forced out because of this. He's done so many good things here.
Coach? From what I gather he has done some good recruiting but is the main X and O guy with Underwood. Having players is great, getting them to execute at a high level is great too.Not trying to be a jerk. What has Gentry done since he has been at Illinois?? Analytics, too. I don't think his player dev is too bad, either.Coach? From what I gather he has done some good recruiting but is the main X and O guy with Underwood. Having players is great, getting them to execute at a high level is great too.
He was the lead recruiter for Goode. Not trying to be a jerk. What has Gentry done since he has been at Illinois?? I know OA and Chin have brought in some high end talent. Just from what I know and see, I'll take OA and Chin over 1 Gentry all day every day.
To be honest underwood's coaching left a lot to be desired until gentry showed up. Don't know if he was the reason but we've looked good since he came on boardCoach? I recall hearing the defensive revamp from the press stuff BU was running was driven by Gentry laying out the analytics and making the caseNot trying to be a jerk. BU has done just fine throughout his career without Gentry tooTo be honest underwood's coaching left a lot to be desired until gentry showed up. Don't know if he was the reason but we've looked good since he came on board
Chin had the Loyola scout but Gentry is in charge of most of the offense. If Gentry had a lot of involvement in the Loyola game prep.....perhaps OA and Chin feel they should have more involvement in game prep and in-game adjustments.
Since we're speculating.
The offense last year had his hands all over it. Dude knows basketball no one is arguing that. Not trying to be a jerk. What has Gentry done since he has been at Illinois?? Would you take what he’s done or would you take the roster that OA and Chin assembled?I hope it doesn't come to Gentry being forced out because of this. He's done so many good things here.
Are we at the point where it's one or the other?Would you take what he’s done or would you take the roster that OA and Chin assembled?

I did not intend to speak for BU. I was pointing out that he has the nest egg despite his big paychecks not starting until 4 years ago. How much he feels he needs is an entirely different conversation. (And no, I'm not in finance.)That’s nice of you to decide how much money is enough for BU.
