If this thread is supposed to be about hiring an AC then why do you keep saying we won’t? I do believe we will hire a 3rd AC, as well as replacing Alexander’s position. I also believe the gifs are an entertaining way to pass the time while waiting for the above to happen. But that’s just me. I’m not making sweeping definitive statements for everyone.

I believe some coaches have had a ‘statement of understanding’ signed by both parties before a final contract was worked out. For exactly reasons what you are saying, likely.
Then news breaks like 6 months later saying contract signed, here are the details.

If he wasn't employed by Illinois then wouldn't he have still been employed by Creighton or had he resigned?

My sources tell me it’s now Gary Bird. Gary is Larry’s half brother. Good X’s and O guy who makes a killer grilled cheese (mayo on the inside). Also, Pruman is a gift. 😘
