This year is a high water mark for Norte Dame.
They aren't making the championship every year. From some quick not terribly verified searches, Notre Dame's TV deal was $22M per year, and the new one is estimated at $50M per year. I am not sure if the the $50M is for the just completed season or the upcoming one. I think is starts in 2025 or 2026. But, even it is for the season that just concluded Notre Dame will be at $70M with TV and Bowls. It is hard to tell, but they might also get some money from the ACC. The Big Ten teams will be just about $85M-105M with bowls and TV. Then when you add in the NCAA basketball that adds another $30Mish. So, if these numbers at all close to being correct, at Notre Dame's highest possible post season football revenue, they still would be better off financially in the Big Ten.
