Overheard two Texas A&M fans at a hotel loudly talking and boasting about how they desire to win a national championship.
It just makes me nauseous given how much that program has taken from our roster. Olano, McCullum, and Singelton all would’ve been starters on this year’s team (and very good ones).
Of all FBS schools, no other team has hurt our program’s trajectory more.

Hasn’t that Alabama quarterback Austin Mack gotten a bit screwed by not looking elsewhere? He’s been with DeBoer his entire career and has never been more than a backup.

Apparently Wright has to clear waivers first. I’d find it hilarious if another NFL team picked him up.
He keeps saying "we" like he's a decision maker or has some entitlement to decide. The NCAA created this mess and won't negotiate with the players. So, you get lawsuits and eligibility no one thinks makes sense.
I'd like to see it end, but the NCAA's keeps pounding their head against a brick wall and the results speak for themselves.

What are you talking about? The only reason he's going back to college is to complete his degree. You wouldn't want to deny that, would you?
This guy wasn’t gonna make their team. If he was, he’d have not even considered going back. It’s essentially college pays more than an NFL practice squad.
I think where it could hurt college football is if more of these “not good enough for the NFL but good enough for college” players somehow regain collegiate eligibility by simply enrolling in classes. I really don’t think courts will be able to prevent that.

Fast losing? It's already long gone.
That train left the station some time ago. We constantly hear/read that player X arrives early and stays late in the athletic facilities to train, look at film, etc. On top of that, you have designer majors created that serve only to keep the player eligible while doing little to prepare the athlete to compete for jobs after their playing days are over. Meanwhile, the institutions, coaches and (unfortunately) many parents play along.
