I actually love this change - every single person has a phone that can tell them scores at a moments notice without having to wait for a scroll. I'd rather have more of the screen filled with action than a strip at the bottom. But in reality, ESPN isn't just going to give up the ability to advertise down there, so I'm sure there will still be ads taking up that space on the bottom most of the time.

And to add onto it, all score bugs should look like the newer minimalist fox box - which is just a box for each team with the time in the middle and no background in between, it's perfect.

I think the nostalgia is the driving force, but I'll probably get used to it. I still think the ESPN scorebug is too big, but they do they best job with the mixing and crowd volume.
