DePaul is very good. Iowa might be the "whitest" team in America. Looks like 6 out of first 7 players fall in that category.

Seems like every year Iowa is a very "white" team. Wisconsin too to a lesser extent. I've always wondered about that, is it just because of the areas they recruit?

I just watched Depaul kill Iowa at home and Steve Lavin was one of the announcers. When Depaul was up 81 to 59 he stated sometimes you just need your butt kicked early in the season. He remembered getting his butt kicked by Stanford by 48 points, but they ended up winning the Pac 12 and went on to the elite 8. THOUGHT I SHOULD SHARE

As much as i dislike Iowa (and i do) the B10 i think is 0-4 against other power conferences, which can effect bubble teams come March.

Be careful the kicking isn't too severe or you might go catatonic, just like our friend Fran...

I have no clue who got ranked where, but St Mary's ..... #18 ?!?!?!?! Do they have a Lottery pick or something????
They've been pretty good for quite a while, Gonzaga's only real threat most years.

Iowa was a 10 point favorite and loose by 23 at home. The 33 point swing ATS has got to be a school record.

I watched a little of the first half. Coleman Lands looked really good. Nailed 3 threes in a row, I think. But then he must have cooled off as he finished 4 of 8 for the game. But he did end up with 17 points.

In other news, did you hear that Nicholls State took down Pitt the other night? That and DePaul taking down Iowa makes our close win not look so bad.
It is never not bad to lose or almost lose to the Nicholls States of the world.

Pitt did beat FSU who won at #6 Florida. Hard to say how good Pitt is at this point.
I did a little search and Pittsburgh is not expected to be "freaking awful". They aren't going to finish in the top half of the ACC either. Kind of in the middle to low middle. Expected to finish between 8 and 14 (out of 15) in the ACC according to various sources most of which put them around 10th place.
