Ok. I get the confusion. Here are things that were observed by responding police that are not up for debate:

I specifically kept out any of the allegations that were contested. The above injuries are undisputed.

If your daughter told you they had instigated a fight with their significant other that left them with the above injuries, how cool would you be with that? Would you be ok with your daughter continuing that relationship? Would you hire this man into a position of trust?

The one and only big time recruit from my hometown, Mascoutah il, Kenny Lantern, was on a tear that season, till he had a tear. 😖 Then it kind of all went to !!!!. But much love to him and that team. All of us Mascoutah Indians were proud as hell for him.

I have so much to say. Morez is sorely missed. He is a big reason that Illinois is/was a top rebounding team nationally. Ben is over his head. He is beat by the first dribble everytime. Did carey booth play last year at Notre dame? He looks like a chicago state player. Boswell needs to keep driving to the basket.

Charges were dropped. After last year, our fan base should be smarter than just reading negative headlines.

The 20 “turnovers” were halftime desserts given to the Duke players in the locker room. They were originally scheduled to be devoured after the game was over, but they figured “why wait?”

How bad does it have to get before Brad's NOT a "very solid head basketball coach?" We were touted as a potential FF team in December. On this very board. On January 19th, Izzo was quoted as saying the Illini might be the best team in the conference. Just over a month ago he said that. How far have we fallen in a month?

Now the Illini with a loss to Iowa could be out of the tournament. How does that crash and burn from January 19th to February 22nd make BU a solid head basketball coach?

Honestly, I’d imagine it’s gotta be difficult for a recruit right now. You see this team go from looking like a top 10-15 a month ago to “what the hell is happening” recently.

Yes I would hire him. Easily. My objective is to win basketball games. Period. Nothing else.

And it’s also a learning situation. People make mistakes and can teach others to not do them. Blackballing anyone from an industry for one incident that was ultimately dropped isn’t how the real world works. I don’t believe in cancel culture. I would fully support Chris Beard. 100%.

I keep thinking that about Morez everytime someone brings up the offensive rebounds. He’s the reason!

Watching the team continue to chuck 3s at this kind of rate and Undergood not making any changes is like a football coach insisting on running the ball 90% of the time when their running backs average 2 yards per carry.
