Last game I played was 04. Same starting 5 as the FF year. Nothing but dunks and 3s. I remember routinely scoring over 100 with 10 minute halves... Maybe even 5 min halves, whatever the standard was.
No but I’ll come cleanDoes your fiancée follow your posts here?
Ok, hope all turns out fine, yet as you can see, you will have numerous here to provide (sometimes) sage advice if things go awry.No but I’ll come clean
No but I’ll come clean
Just have fun and live your life! You didn't say anything about being a "gaming father".
I've been keeping an eye on this exchange. As the wife of a man who loves video games, I'd hope your fiancee isn't so rigid as you have you cut gaming out entirely. No but I’ll come clean
I fear people took my post a little too seriously hahaI've been keeping an eye on this exchange. As the wife of a man who loves video games, I'd hope your fiancee isn't so rigid as you have you cut gaming out entirely.
Like most things, balance is the key to marriage. I've been with my husband since we were 19 (we'll be 38 in September) and married for the past nine years. A lot of our success is due to each of us feeling comfortable taking time for our own hobbies while prioritizing the two of us as a family unit. Both things can exist.
Not gonna lie; the following like 3-4 posts after your initial post had me laughing out loud...and sharing with my wife why I was laughing...I fear people took my post a little too seriously haha
I appreciate the advice and if I want to game, I will game and she will love me no less
it’s my “social media” to my wife lolNot gonna lie; the following like 3-4 posts after your initial post had me laughing out loud...and sharing with my wife why I was laughing...
(also let's just say that she doesn't exactly get thrilled when I tell her anything that I've read on Illinois Loyalty.... also fun fact, she calls Illinois Loyalty my "porn")![]()
You are just lucky the folks over at r/relationships on reddit haven't gotten wind of this post yet. Once they do, divorce is the only option.I fear people took my post a little too seriously haha

This is similar to to me and my wife. We have our own hobbies we like doing, though we share a lot of those too. Humorously enough though on this topic, I don't even recall the last time I played a video game alone. Its not that I wouldn't want to or the wife wouldn't let me but especially after kids, just seems like time completely disappears...I've been keeping an eye on this exchange. Loved PS3 NCAA 10! I've kept my PS3 just for this game.Oh. My. God.
I still have a functional PS3 specifically for the NCAA Basketball 10. (The cover boy for which has now been retired for 2 years) I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but this might bring me out of retirement...
P.S. Abbreviating Illinois is "ILLI" is one of the most hilariously weird things I have ever seen, lol.
The word is not as unusual as you may think. Meet our 16-year old dog Illie, neatest dog ever.Hopefully they take all of this time to put in more effort for the arenas, because the 2007 effort was pretty subpar ... not sure where this is, but it's not Assembly Hall!

To me this just comes down to 2k being greedy per usual, not saying EA isn't guilty of this, however I think EA genuinely wants to make a good college basketball video game that contains every D-1 men's and women's team. While on the flip side, 2k just wants to get the big name schools for their games which allows them to outbid EA. Obviously, the bigger schools would take the larger amount of money. EA is wanting exclusive rights to make a college basketball game which also makes it difficult. While I am technically on EA's side in this situation because I want to have the small mid-major programs, I don't think any company should have exclusive rights to make a video game. We absolutely need competition, thus why NBA2K and Madden have become shells of their former selves due to that lack of competition. It's a shame that gaming and sports have come to this point where greed trumps over quality and giving the fans what they deserve.![]()
Insider Confirms Massive Blow to EA Sports College Basketball's Creation
EA Sports college basketball game, once looking like a done deal, now faces unexpected hurdles that could derail its long-awaited return.www.profootballnetwork.com
Not sure where else to post this. This is a tragedy.
Yeah, I don't like NBA2K and I don't think the inclusion of a few college basketball programs would make that game any more appealing. If this kills the EA NCAA basketball game I'd be pissed about that.To me this just comes down to 2k being greedy per usual, not saying EA isn't guilty of this, however I think EA genuinely wants to make a good college basketball video game that contains every D-1 men's and women's team. Just did some more reading, turns out that 2k isn't even making a standalone CBB game. They're just adding select teams to NBA2k's MyTeam mode. This was my worst case scenario. Even more reason to hate 2k.EA has already pulled out of making a CBB game due to more schools choosing 2k over them. This is exactly what I was worried about. 2k throwing bags at big name schools, leaving mid majors in the dust. Which that could change I suppose, however given 2k's track record I'm expecting this game to be a glorified NBA2k DLC. I pray that I'm wrong and 2k actually puts in the effort to make a great and deep CBB video game, they have all of the resources to make a great game but at this point in time I'm expecting to be disappointed. I guess time will tell.
