Elijah Thomas transfers to Clemson

I am, but I don't think it's much of a stretch to project him into the league. He's got great hands, and his body is coming along. Also, prior to his falling out with Kennedy, he was quite productive for a sixth man. If we were in the hunt for his services, people would be drooling, and IMO should be. Think he would have done really well under Groce too. Ah well.

Definitely has the tools to be a big-time college player. Fantastic hands and nice moves in the post.

He has the potential to become a good college player, and would have gladly welcome him back if that was even a possibility. But he is nowhere to be projected as an NBA player and IMO will struggle to make it in the NBA even if he does indeed become a very good player. He is C/post player, has moves, may work well in college. But he will be undersized in the NBA at C/post and not sure he has the athleticism, quickness, or skills to make the transition to PF in the NBA.

How long before he leads the Tigers to the NC? Future lottery pick...lol. Legend in his own mind.

Jeff Goodman of ESPN has reported that ET is down to 5 schools--Nebraska, Gonzaga, San Diego, ASU, & Clemson.

So according to ET his final four were probably Nebraska, Gonzaga, San Diego, and ASU.

My perception is limited to year + old highlight reels when we were recruiting him, but this is how I see him as well. Could be a very good college player, but will struggle with the combination of speed, size, and athleticism to find a place in the NBA.

I can't think of a recent recruit that played a fan base the way ET played ours and we ate it up. The real star of that ET OV weekend was JCL and most people didn't even know he was here.

I might be in the minority here, but I never wanted ET to come here. At all. We need humble players like JCL.
