Today's final scores:

Everton 1:0 Bournemouth
Arsenal 5:0 Wolves
Aston Villa 2:1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Brentford 1:0 Manchester City
Chelsea 1:1 Newcastle United
Crystal Palace 1:1 Nottingham Forest
Leeds United 1:4 Spurs
Leicester City 2:1 West Ham United
Manchester United 2:1 Fulham
Southampton 4:4 Liverpool

Villa gets the Europa Conference League spot. Everton avoid relegation as Leicester City and Leeds are relegated to the Championship. West Ham still have a chance to be in the Europa League next season if they win the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina on June 7 in Prague.

Though the match itself had no real impact on the final table, that match on the South Coast between Southampton and Liverpool looks like it would have been an entertaining one to watch.

I am so happy Everton won and survived. I fully expected both Leeds and Leicester to lose or draw today and was surprised that Leicester played well enough to win. With that being said, Everton needs a major overhaul in the off-season to make sure next season is better. Hopefully new ownership will be a major step in the right direction.

Including this season, there have been 124 seasons of top flight football. Everton has been a part of 120 of those season.

Dyche said it perfectly after the match. "A lot of people are saying it's a broken club. It's not. There's cracks but it's not broken." It's already known they're going to have replace Yerry Mina as he announced prior to today's match he would be leaving the club, whether they stayed up or were relegated. The biggest issue they had this season was DCL's health. They really need to find another quality secondary striker if DCL is going to have issues staying healthy again next season. Next season will also be the final season at Goodson Park before they move to the new stadium at the Bramley Moore Dock.

I'm hoping to get to Goodison this coming season, but not sure I can make it happen.

and Villa holds on to keep Tottenham out of Europe

Nobody wants to be in the Europa Conference League. Gives the new manager a year to concentrate on the league and FA / Carabao Cups, which would be more prestigious than a 3rd tier European tournament with crazy travel.

Tottenham appoint Ange Postecoglou head coach

Ange Postecoglou has been appointed Tottenham head coach on a four-year deal.

Postecoglou, set to be the first Australian to manage in the Premier League, will join Spurs on July 1 after two years at Celtic in which he has won back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles and a domestic treble this season.
