Welcome, Bob Bradley. Another door US denizens have stepped through. Good coach, tough gig though. Have to assume that Swansea's new owners will ramp up the player budget.

Swansea is now my 2nd favorite team in the Premier League. I already followed them a bit, as they have a couple former Spurs players (Sigurdsson and Naughton). Now, with Bradley, I will cheer for them any time they are not playing Spurs.

I listened to an episode of The Football Show on SiruisXM FC a couple of months ago and they were discussing Bradley's potential next move. The consensus was that, if he wanted England, he'd likely have to settle for a team in the Championship and look to get them promoted. This is great for him and I hope he does well.

Me, too (except Chelsea instead of Spurs).:thumb:

Sigurdsson is fun to watch and Fer is off to a strong start. Swansea's defense isn't terrible and they are capable of putting the ball in the back of the net. Looking forward to seeing what Bradley can do for them.

But I hope Bradley is given a chance from the Swansea supporters. Looking on twitter, the general sentiment seems to be "He hasn't managed in England and he is an American, this will be a disaster". Swansea has to play Arsenal next but then they get 2 winnable games with Watford and Stoke. I think Bradley has to impress pretty quickly or things will turn ugly in South Wales, which is unfortunate.

International break. This one's a real snoozer. Can't wait for league action to resume.

On a brighter note, the break gives Bob Bradley a bit more time to get acclimated.

The snooze-fest is over, thank God. Really looking forward to games that mean something. Next international break will be a doozy though.

Lots of rumors that Pep is planning to spend another load during the next transfer window. Bellerin is a target (also of Barca). Should be interesting.

As do all Gunners fans. Arsenal is going to do whatever they can to sign him to a new contract in the next couple of months. Operative word being whatever. The world is Bellerin's oyster now, who knows what he's going to do? Definitely, can see him staying with Arsenal. Can also see him going. We'll see.

arsenal should also be trying to do whatever they can to sign alexis and ozil to new contracts. i like cazorla to stay too but wouldn't be terrible if he left.

I have only rarely seen Messi play so this was an opportunity. He didn't disappoint.

Arsenal and Leicester living comfortably halfway through the group stage. Looks like City and Spurs will have to fight until the final game, but I expect both to get through.

Bournemouth v. Tottenham should be a good match. Think the Cherries will give the Spurs a battle.

Chelsea spanking ManU. City, Gunners and Spurs drop points, the former two at home. Crowded up top.

Conte switched to a 3-5-2 in the middle of that Arsenal game a couple weeks ago. Chelsea hasn't given up a goal since then and has outscored the opponent 9-0.

i figured arsenal could drop points against boro. they are very defensive minded and arsenal still hasn't figured out how to crack that.

Bad news for the Spurs: Sissoko looks like he'll be suspended for the next 3 games for his bush league elbow.
