I have to agree with this. It's sad because I really wanted Klinsi to succeed, but at this point there is just no momentum.
The real indictment is not that we're absolutely awful or something like that, but more so that there really hasn't been any noticeable improvement over his tenure. Nothing to make you go, "yes, this is our guy!" The youth programs aren't doing that much better (some are doing worse), we've not had any really big successes beyond the scope of what Bradley or Arena brought us, and we don't have some all-star crop of youth that are going to save the day (many would argue that are current U23s are not as good as the Dempsey, Donovan group).
As far as last night (and vs. Mexico for that matter), playing Jermaine Jones as anything more than a 60th minute sub is inexcusable. Even when he is in full health he is error prone, penalty prone, and conflicts in position with Bradley. The fact that he played so many minutes his first time back from injury is really a joke and unfair to him, the US team, and his club team.
