Are we doing a fantasy baseball league this year? I did not see a post for it.

It will be head to head each category. So hits rbi HR runs avg, then SO W SV ERA and WHIP. and it is weekly.
You gotta keep Posey. His eligibility as a catcher makes him much more valuable than a SP. Keep this in mind, there are 5x30 pitchers to choose from and only 30 catchers approximately up for consideration, and many of those catchers aren't on the field for any reason related to offense. Scherzer is also only contributing in 5 of 7 categories (no saves/holds). Posey is feasibly able to contribute across offensive categories.I can't commit to playing right now, as I am in another league that I run and am working 60 hours a week, but I do have a fantasy advice/question.
I run a 12 man league, head to head 7x7 rotisierre, most categories won wins the week. We are a keeper league where you keep any 6 players you want, no draft round penalty. We have 9 position starter spots(9th spot is for a utility) and are position specific, 5 starting pitcher spots, 5 reliever spots, 6 bench spots.
Question, I have an offer for me to receive Max Scherzer for Buster Posey. Both players are obviously stars, Posey has catcher and 1st base availability while Max only pitches every 5th day. We are only allowed to have 7 starts for starting pitchers a week, do you make this move?
Our categories are: R, TB, HR, RBI, SB, Avg., and OPS. for offense and IP, QS, K, SV, HD, ERA and WHIP for pitching.

This says nothing of the two players individually. Both are among the top at their position, but I would put Posey right at the top of the catcher list and Scherzer somewhere a notch below the top, top of the pitching crop.
Stick with Posey.
I sent JNudd a reminder email from within the ESPN fantasy baseball app. I'm definitely up for playing again this season.
I'm leaning the way you are thinking. Thevguy offering won last year and his team was stacked, which leads me to believe he may drop Max anyways considering he has Kershaw. He wants to improve his C/1b slots. I may be able to get him with my 3rd pick if I want. I'm keeping: Harper, A. Jones, Machado. CarGo, Boegaerts, and Posey. I'll have to completely draft my pitching rotation.
Hey all, I just reactivated the league! Let's see who's still playing from last year and we'll go from there in terms of adding/removing teams, etc.
That's probably the only way, but I generally enjoy it because it's free. Also it'd probably be a pain to collect from everyone remotely.
I'll be sending out PMs to those who participated last year but haven't checked in yet this year. Once I hear back from them, I'll remove teams of anyone not participating from last year and open it up to anyone else that wants to join.
