I've heard it said that lie detector tests are useless for pathological liars.
Yep, have always heard they are beatable.

It does not say he was asked only two questions, it says only two questions and answers are "relevant."First of all, 2 questions does not give anything close to an accurate baseline on a polygraph
"I do not dispute ULAA's right to terminate my employment at its discretion," Pitino's affidavit stated. "But I vehemently reject its right to do so 'for cause.' I have given no 'cause' for termination of my contract."
That's a lie.
Jokes (even poor ones, like mine) do not require a response. They are presented only for entertainment purposes and to lighten things up, brighten your day, etc.
Here's a full list of how each school and conference responded to the question: "Are you reviewing your own basketball program - internally or with a consultant - as a response to the federal probe?"

the Jayhawks’ coach admitted being “very disappointed and disheartened” and likened it to a “dark cloud for our profession.”
Kansas recently reached a 12-year contract extension with Adidas that will ultimately provide the school with $191 million in sponsorship money and apparel. Self suggested the affiliation is being used by rivals on the recruiting trail.
Notable that only one B1G school said yes - Wisconsin. And, I'd put the odds at about .01% that Wisconsin has been cheating in basketball recruiting.

Separate from this investigation, Loren Tate has claimed several times (on the radio) that Kansas has a high powered group of boosters that take care of the recruiting.
I once saw a documentary on Kansas basketball, and their facilities were about as crazy as you could imagine. I seem to recall they had their own jet, with a very spacious layout for tall people to get comfortable. I suppose it shouldn't have surprised me given how much money their is in college sports, but this was all supposedly booster money at work. No small change, by any measure. If that's an indication of their booster money, it's no wonder they land so many 5 stars.
Michigan State is on the YES list.
From the "you'd be smart to just let this go...but that's not what you're going to do" department, WSJ reporting that Pitino is suing Adidas. Can't say I'm surprised.
"Mr. Pitino’s reputation “hinged on him running a clean, proper, and strictly compliant men’s basketball program,” particularly in the wake of NCAA sanctions stemming from an assistant coach’s provision of escorts to players and recruits, the lawsuit says. Adidas knew, or recklessly avoided knowing, that his standing would be “severely damaged by a new scandal,” Mr. Pitino’s lawyers allege."

....right :violin:
Certainly not supporting Pitino, but if he knows he’s clean or at least has covered his tracks well enough, this move makes a ton of sense. Obviously he and his attorneys must think it will be difficult to prove he was aware of Adidas’ involvement.
How does Adidas prove Pitino knew without proving that Adidas also knew? The FBI has gotta be looking forward to that answer!
Article on Christian Dawkins and his path to all of this...crazy read.
