Absolutely! I love amazing swings ala the beloved over Arizona, but that tipped the scales. Flagg getting held down and driven backwards. All he did was jump. Brutal.
With the amount of talent Duke has on that roster, absolutely no reason for them not to win a national championship. Unbelievable choke job by Duke.

Just won one of my bracket pools. Almost everyone took Duke as the champ so my only competition remaining (who went completely chalk) just needed to pick one of the two final teams correctly to win it and he missed them both. I had Florida in the Final losing to Duke.

Biggest choke job this side of Arizona.
Duke had no answer for inbounding the ball. Should have gone to the "5 out" play like Florida did in the 1st game. Duke could not handle Houston's defensive pressure in the last 2 minutes and completely gave the game away.
Doing their best Illini impression at the absolute worst time.

Wow, Duke loses simply because they can't get the ball in against Houston's press. They looked like us trying to get open. Just running to a spot and holding your hand out isn't going to cut it against a team like Houston. Should have had some better plays set up for that situation. Scheyer crapped the bed on this one.
Not saying Florida didn't play hard, but I think Houston expended a ton of energy to get this improbable victory. Florida beat an opponent they knew quite too well. Take Florida covering the points.

That's on Scheyer. He simply didn't have his team prepared for the inbound pressure at the end. It looked like they never practiced it.
Disagree... Illinois absolutely snatched that win from Arizona. Duke gave that game away with lots a of dumb plays. Houston wasn't exactly lighting it up.
Duke was up 58-45 with 10 minutes left.
Up 64-55 with 2:20 left.
Has to sting for Scheyer. You only get to coach Flagg once.

Different games, different scrum. Houston grinded that out, Sampson manufactured plays for points. Conversely, Weber ran some plays for time management but the guys on the court manufactured the comeback. The game tonight was entertaining for sure, but it was different
