Miles did coach coach LBs/nickels even before he was promoted....so that could be it as well.I don't see how Miles is qualified at all to be an LB coach. That's just a bad hire if this comes to fruition.
GAs, QCs, and analysts technically do help coach positions. Hopefully that’s what he meant.
Whoever is hired and whenever the hire happens, someone will need to explain to me the benefit of waiting this long to make it official.
Well, if a coach is not on a staff yet, he can contact players during the no-contact period, or so I heard. Not saying that is the case hear, just spitballing. It has now been exactly 3 months since Hardy resigned (October 29). Can’t wait to hear how this is spun as a positive.

Well, we are in a contact period right now. The next quiet period is Feb. 3, and the next dead period is Feb. 4 - 7. So I guess we won't hear anything until Feb. 8th (the start of the next quiet period) to make use of that loophole.Well, if a coach is not on a staff yet, he can contact players during the no-contact period, or so I heard. Yes, we are all aware of his defensive game planning, which might be part of the delay in finding someone.Maybe he doesn't care what anyone else thinks and will do what he needs to do his way.
