I have simple needs. I’m happy in 207. What’s it gonna take to keep me in the first ten rows?
nice
back in the day (1999-2005) I had 6 tix for the family in Sec 202, on about the north end 5 yards line, 3rd row.
they were more than fine.

sec 207 is even better . just gotta be careful with the sunburn in Sept-Oct

There was one game last year (Central Michigan) we had to retreat under the overhang. The balcony was unbearable that day. We love our seats. No frills. Concessions right at the top of the stairs. With a 2 1/2 hour one way trip the 4-pack is a great deal.

I got a letter in the mail yesterday that broke down the expected priority numbers. If you are in the $250/$500 donation range you can expect to be in the first 3600 to do seat selection. Not great if you want premium seats but if you have a preferred section outside that you will most likely be just fine.

I remember that hot afternoon. Later in the game we watched a little pod of fans way up in the corner in 207, migrating to stay in the slowly moving shadow of the lighting tower!

MEMORIAL STADIUM RESEAT RANKINGS

Ended 3/1.

But wait, there's more. You can still improve your ranking - ONE last chance - LOL. Ending when? Sometime.

Update: I want to thank everyone for the suggestions. I renewed my IFUND for 2025. Hopefully I can get some decent seats in the section I've been in. I don't mind paying a bit more but really like the West Balcony. Have a great day and Go Illini!!
My guess is you’ll be able to move south, toward midfield if you like. Please reply later, as I’m curious how it works out for you.

Was in 207 for a decade until I decided to pony up a few extra $$ to jump across the field to 225.

Pros:
- the fancy people suite box provides shade in the early season games
- it also blocks the wind for those November freezer games
- halftime show is not staring at the backs of the band.
-updated concessions and bathrooms

Cons:
- not sure if the seats are actually narrower or I was just used to mostly empty rows, but it feels very cramped.
- looking to my left to view the field feels unnatural

As long as you keep your current I Fund level I think.
It’s helpful this year if you want a higher rank so you can choose earlier -that’s only for a better selection, not for the tickets themselves. So 77% of seats still don’t require any donation for ticketing/renewal. The seating chart attached shows the donation required by section for the other 23%. Many of us have made donations for the parking rather than for the tickets themselves.

We moved over from the EB for all of the same reasons you cited. We were your cousins in 229, gazing to the right instead of left. I often felt I’d rather be at your end for proximity to the scoreboard, but it’s pretty huge.

Yesterday I received notice of my reseating selection time slot, April 7 at 2:25pm. It encouraged logging in to access the selection page. Here’s what it shows blocked out in red.

Did you receive a notice via email or was it in the IFUND app?

I looked at available seating in some green sections and some seats are already blocked out.

This is NOT the first time this has happened... I went through 2 of these 're-seating' plans before I moved far away, and only watch on TV now... It happens every time the team gets good.. Problem is the team always fell back in wins and attendance fell with it... Until they were good again... The other problem is that people who gave more always want to move to better seats, so they complain... Every team that is not great, but then gets better for a while goes through this...

We got our reseat appointment by email yesterday for April 2. Looks like people in the upper levels of IFund have been choosing seats since March 25 so some in the green sections are gone. Hoping we can get close to our seats from the last few years in 127. Lots of seats are going to be picked in the next 17 days…

It’s a curious combination of big blocks like the EB example below and 1-2-3-4 seats. Why not choose among the best available in your desired section? And is someone making big donations for first dibs on scattered seats in the middle of the Horseshoe (not even aisle seats)? Puzzling.

HAHAHAHAHA! I'm sorry, your selection time slot?!?! If I had ordered tickets this year and reached the donor level required to keep my seats from last year, [East Balcony Rules!], I would be irate if I lost them because the ticketing office needs me to cancel work so I can go online to hold their hands.

I mean, I'm kinda irate anyhow, but sometimes that's just how I roll.

For those who already have tickets, those seats already feel like the best seats in the section. Unless they're lousy seats, but who buys lousy season seats in a 25% full stadium?
