That part about Clark happened during that season when he left. They did the same thing to Perrin I think.

I was going to ask about Giorgi, but Google tells me he has been just about everywhere in recent years.

I want to see someone legitimately get a doctorate while playing basketball.

If you came in with enough AP/dual credit courses and took summer school you could put up the 60 hours on campus to graduate in 2 years(12 hour semesters plus 6 in the summer). Could legitimately pick up a doctorate if you were on the JCL timeline.

I think you might say that Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk qualifies. He didn’t earn a doctorate, but he earned a law degree. From the South Carolina basketball website: "Graduated in three years from Illinois and is entering year three of law school at South Carolina, one of the only law students in the country playing Division I basketball."

He is now spotlighted in a USC commercial that played during the their game against Kentucky last night

Law degree is a Juris Doctorate.

I’m so glad he went down a level. Young man is going to shine
He may and I think it was a good move for him, but that opponent is much more than a level down. I’d hope he would dominate.

On a side note, I think that might be the school at which Gary Payton was the volunteer head coach. If so, I believe they hired a HS coach for head job.
